Hello! I am new to blogging, and did not even consider this until I read a post from Renovo Workfriend “5 ways blogging could help you land your next job” (paywall). The last point about showing rather than telling interested me greatly, as I have struggled to get a technical role due to lack of hands-on experience. I think being able to show this could be of benefit in future, and I also like the idea of learning how to set up a website, which in itself is a skill.
I thought about it, and discussed with my husband (his attitude is “go for it!”), and after some research chose WordPress.
I am hoping my blogs will showcase my achievements, experience, creativity, and passion, and hopefully be less dry than a CV!
