Quick update

So it’s been 8 months since my last blogpost. Considering we had a long lockdown in England, and slowly edging back into “normality”, I haven’t found the time to write a blog!

My next few blogposts are going to be heavily focused on what I have learned, and what I have done, on the asset management programme. It is steadily getting more intense, with a lot of aspects creeping through that we did not consider initially. Much of the time has been at home, but we are slowly creeping back into the office for hybrid working, which presents its own challenges but otherwise it’s good to see other people in real life.

I have also finished my first year on the remote BEng top-up course, time was spent cramming for the exams! There will probably be some reflection here on that period.

We have also been decorating the house, which always takes longer than expected, especially when we discover “flaws” such as crack, when peeling back wallpaper that’s probably been in the house since it was built. The decorating continues, but at least the room which is my home office looks better than ever.

Now we are in the summer period, I’m hoping to catch up on reading. Until next time!
